Hojicha
Hojicha is a Japanese Green Tea that was roasted. While most Japanese teas are steamed, Hojicha is fired at a high temperature. This process makes the tea less astringent and reduces the caffeine content. The vegetative tones of other varieties of Japanese green tea are replaced with a toasty flavour.
