Kenyan Kambaa

Delicious! Just as described, this tea has a rich, deep malty flavour that is a perfect accompaniment to breakfast. The body is a bit weak and the tea is mildly astringent with a bitter finish, so adding a splash of milk helps round it out.

Once upon a time, there was a lovely tea store in my city. I used to go there every few days. They had a wall full of black teas, with dozens if not hundreds of varieties. Every visit, I would go down the line and try the next black tea. Until I got to Kenyan Kambaa, which had a picture of a lion on the container. It was so delightful that I didn't need to try any more tea. Then the tea shop went out of business, sadly, and I had to scour the internet for the same thing. I can attest this is it!
