Also known as “Lung Ching” or “Longjing” - a well-known green tea from the West Lake region of Zhejiang province in China, this tea is usually manufactured by hand, using only the finest leaves harvested in spring. There is much legend and tradition surrounding this tea. It is best when steeped in an authentic “Yixing” tea pot. This tea produces a pale, yellow-green liquor and a taste that is mild and sweet, with delicate floral notes.
