Monsieur Z Black & White
One of the highly stylized, sixties-inspired, retro-modern designs produced by the French illustrator known as Monsieur Z is reproduced on this mug by Dunoon. A pair of swinging Sixties supermodels in mini-dresses, thigh-high boots and afro wigs parade past an op-art inspired black and white backdrop. A great mug for anyone who is inspired by the super-cool sixties, or indeed, still remembers them!
Richard Zielenkiewicz, aka Monsieur Z, is an illustrator based in the South of France. His work depicts jet-setting images with bright Mediterranean colours, inspired by the crisp, cartoon-style imagery favoured in the 1960s. He studied graphic design in Paris and his sleek, modernistic imagery is now recognised world-wide.
New for 2012, the 'Cairngorm' shape, named after the Scottish Mountains of the same name, is a larger version of the Lomond shape mugs. It has a gentle slope to the body and a curved handle. With a range of fabulous designs to choose from this 'oversized' mug is a must. With a capacity of 480ml they are both dishwasher and microwave safe, with the exception of any mugs with gold embellishment.
