Starting September 1st, The Tea Haus is offering tea-to-go. The take-out cups are made by Ecotainer, a company that ensures that they are 100% compostable. These paper cups look, feel, and perform like regular paper cups but have a biodegradable coating. Ecotainer® cups have an Ingeo™ moisture-proof lining made from plants instead of petrochemicals. The Tea Haus is looking forward to offer our customers the new tea-to-go option with an environmentally-friendly solution. The cups have performed well in tasting tests to ensure the premium taste of our teas will not be compromised. For every tea-to-go cup that The Tea Haus sells, we will donate 10 cents to an environmental project here in London Ontario.
